All courses start at 16.00h on a Saturday and finish at 11h00 the following Saturday for 7 day courses, or at 11h00 two weeks on Saturday for 14 day courses.

Unless otherwise stated, all cruises will start and finish at Kerrera, Oban. Transport to and from Oban is arranged by the crew and at the traveller's own expense.

The cruise price includes the provision of a berth and all food and drink provided on board. All meals and drinks ashore are paid for individually by crewmembers.

The price of the cruise includes the hire of wet weather gear and personal safety equipment. For safety reasons, all crew must obey the instructions of the skipper at all times. The skipper's word is final.

The price of the cruise includes all training provided on board, but does not cover the cost of an external examiner, as required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster qualifications.

A reservation is only effective upon confirmation of the receipt of a non-refundable deposit representing 20% of the total cruise price. However, if a booking is made within four weeks of the scheduled departure date, the total cruise fee is due at the outset in order to secure your booking.

The 80% balance of the cruise fee is due at least 4 weeks before departure.

Should you choose to cancel your cruise at any time, the following refund policy applies to any monies already paid (deposit or balance):

Should you need to cancel your cruise on medical grounds, any monies paid over (including the deposit) will be returned to you upon presentation of a medical certificate.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a cruise, a full refund will be made of any monies already paid.

Children aged 10-16 at the date of departure can be accommodated at a reduction in price of 40%, but they must be accompanied by a parent. Children under 10 may be accommodated under special arrangement. Please contact the skipper for further details.

Full time students can apply for a discount of 10% off the normal price. Please join a photocopy of your valid student card to your booking card.

The boat and skipper are fully insured for third party damages, but your own travel and personal insurances are your choice and are advisable.
